Streszczenie
Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu przypomnieć historię i główne osiągnięcia wyprawy polarnej „Maud”, z okazji upływającej w 2025 r. 100. rocznicy jej zakończenia. Dwa główne rozdziały przypominają w skrócie historię, zwrotne i mniej znane punkty wyprawy oraz jej wieloaspektowy program naukowy. Program ten był ukierunkowany na badania, które dziś nazwalibyśmy klimatycznymi w szerokim ujęciu, gdyż dotyczyły zarówno atmosfery, morza, magnetyzmu, związków Ziemia-Słońce i pogody kosmicznej. Załączona tabela przedstawia oś czasu wyprawy oraz role poszczególnych uczestników, historyczny diagram przedstawia pomiary naukowe, a mapka pokazuje wszystkie trzy morskie szlaki wyprawy. Dodatek, będący cytatem z książki Roalda Amundsena, zabiera nas wprost w realia wyprawy i tamtych czasów.

Abstract
This article aims to revisit the history and main achievements of the Maud polar expedition, marking its 100th anniversary in 2025. Two main chapters briefly recount the expedition’s history, key and lesser-known milestones, and its comprehensive scientific program. The program focused on what we would now call climatic research in a broad sense, as it encompassed the atmosphere, the sea, magnetism, the Earth-Sun relationship, and space weather. The accompanying table presents the expedition’s timeline and the roles of individual participants, a historical diagram illustrates the scientific measurements, and a map shows all three sea routes of the expedition. The appendix, a quote from Roald Amundsen’s book, takes us directly into the reality of the expedition and the times.
