Streszczenie
\n<\/strong>Przedstawiono histori\u0119 pomiar\u00f3w i obserwacji meteorologicznych w Bia\u0142ymstoku prowadzonych od 1808 roku. Lokalizacja miejsc pomiarowych stacji meteorologicznej z profesjonalnym oprzyrz\u0105dowaniem zmienia\u0142a si\u0119 pi\u0119ciokrotnie na terenie miasta. W XIX wieku szczeg\u00f3lne zas\u0142ugi w tym wzgl\u0119dzie mieli nauczyciele Szko\u0142y Realnej w Bia\u0142ymstoku – Jan Wolski i Karol Czechowicz. Przerwy w ponad 210 letniej serii obserwacyjnej by\u0142y skutkiem zmian obserwator\u00f3w oraz \u015bwiatowych wojen. Zebrane pomiary stanu pogody w Bia\u0142ymstoku s\u0105 najd\u0142u\u017csz\u0105 seri\u0105 pomiarow\u0105 w p\u00f3\u0142nocno-wschodniej Polsce i maj\u0105 du\u017ce znaczenie w ocenie wieloletnich zmian klimatu najch\u0142odniejszego regionu kraju, o silnie zaznaczaj\u0105cych si\u0119 cechach kontynentalizmu termicznego.

Abstract
\n<\/strong>The history of meteorological measurements and observations in Bia\u0142ystok since 1808 is presented. The location of measuring points of a meteorological station with professional instrumentation changed five times in the city. In the nineteenth century, the teachers of the Real School in Bia\u0142ystok – Jan Wolski and Karol Czechowicz – had special merits in this regard. The breaks in the more than 210-year-long observation series were the result of changes in observers and world wars. The collected weather condition measurements in Bia\u0142ystok are the longest series of measurements in north-eastern Poland and are of great importance in the assessment of long-term climate changes in the coldest region of the country, with strong features of thermal continentalism. <\/span>
