Streszczenie
\n<\/strong>Praca przedstawia zwi\u0105zek mi\u0119dzy transportem oceanicznym ciep\u0142a i transportem atmosferycznym ciep\u0142a z tropik\u00f3w do Arktyki, znany pod nazw\u0105 kompensacji Bjerknesa (1964). W artykule zwraca si\u0119 uwag\u0119 na konsekwencje klimatyczne kompensacji Bjerknesa dla obszar\u00f3w Europy. Przy wykorzystaniu danych obserwacyjnych przedstawia si\u0119 s\u0142uszno\u015b\u0107 tej hipotezy odno\u015bnie ujemnych korelacji mi\u0119dzy oceanicznymi i atmosferycznymi strumieniami ciep\u0142a oraz dodatnich zwi\u0105zk\u00f3w mi\u0119dzy anomaliami oceanicznego transportu ciep\u0142a i intensywno\u015bci\u0105 wiatr\u00f3w zachodnich w szeroko\u015bciach umiarkowanych.

Abstract
\n<\/strong>The work presents the relationship between ocean heat transport and atmospheric heat transport from the tropics to the Arctic, known as the Bjerknes compensation (1964). Attention is drawn to the climatic consequences of Bjerknes’ compensation for the areas of Europe. Using the observational data, the validity of this hypothesis is presented regarding the negative correlations between oceanic and atmospheric heat fluxes and positive relationships between ocean heat transport anomalies and the intensity of westerly winds in moderate latitudes. <\/span>
