W pracy tej skoncentrowano si\u0119 na charakterystyce ich zmienno\u015bci rocznej i wieloletniej. Karpaty Polskie, ze wzgl\u0119du na urozmaicon\u0105 rze\u017ab\u0119, s\u0105 obszarem w Polsce o najwi\u0119kszym zakresie zr\u00f3\u017cnicowania ilo\u015bci opad\u00f3w tak w przestrzeni, jak i w czasie, od ca\u0142kowitego braku opad\u00f3w do 500 mm w miesi\u0105cu. Pmax maj\u0105 bardziej wyrazisty przebieg roczny cz\u0119sto\u015bci ni\u017c Pmin. Skrajne sumy opad\u00f3w miesi\u0119cznych w 138-leciu, zar\u00f3wno Pmax jak i Pmin, nie wykazuj\u0105 istotnego statystycznie trendu zmian, co jest zgodne z brakiem trendu w og\u00f3lnej ilo\u015bci opad\u00f3w na tym obszarze.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>S\u0142owa kluczowe:<\/strong> ekstremalne opady, opady miesi\u0119czne, polskie Karpaty <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Abstract<br \/>\n<\/strong>The paper focuses on the highest (Pmax) and lowest (Pmin) monthly precipitation totals over a period of one year from 18 sites in the Polish Western Carpathians and their foreland over the 138-year period from 1881 to 2018. It then uses the results to discuss the characteristics of the annual and long-term variability of such precipitation. On account of their varied relief, the Polish Carpathian Mountains display the greatest temporal and spatial variability of precipitation in Poland, ranging from complete absence to 500 mm per month. While Pmax demonstrates a more pronounced annual frequency pattern than Pmin, neither of them follows a statistically significant trend of variation.
